Executive Program by Tilburg University
The Executive Program “Law & Technology” focuses on regulatory and legal aspects of the development and implementation of innovative information and communication technologies and leads to a University Certificate. It is the result of a partnership between the Law Faculty of the Tilburg University – the best Dutch university in law in Times Higher Education – and Nomiki Bibliothiki, i.e. the largest provider of vocational education in the field of Law and Economics in Greece. In the most recent five-year research assessment, TILT received 4.75 out of 5, ranking second (with seven others) out of 60 Dutch research programmes.
- This program is tailored for legal experts who realize that adequate knowledge of law is no longer sufficient for modern legal professionals working with technology on a daily basis.
- This program aims at offering legal professionals intensive education and training on a broad range of legal areas relating to Information and Communication Technologies, while it offers a thorough focus on the role of ethics in the regulation of Artificial Intelligence.
- This program offers a unique opportunity to obtain a well-structured and thorough understanding of legal and ethical issues on cutting-edge technologies.

The program is designed for lawyers, staff of legal departments of companies and organizations, legal advisors, and researchers, who wish to develop their knowledge or to systematize and modernize their knowledge on topics related to the way the law deals with technological challenges and adapt to contemporary data and digital challenges of our time. The program covers a broad range of areas of Law & Technology, offering a thorough analysis of the applicable legal and regulatory framework and approaching them from a practical perspective in order to offer a comprehensive and complete understanding of these areas.
After successful completion of the Course, participants will receive a University Certificate of Attendance (Certificate), awarded by the Law Faculty of Tilburg University.
The seminars will be held through distance learning (live streaming) sessions. Only two sessions (10 & 11.3.2023) will be held with on- site presence of instructors. The program will be conducted in the English language.
